Creative Spotlight Film Series - Syracuse University Blackstone LaunchPad: Cara Christian
This film was produced, directed, and shot by Zain Elwakil for the Blackstone LaunchPad at Syracuse University. Zain received a grant in order to produce this film series for the 2020-2021 academic year. Cara Christian was the third subject in the series. Cara is an artist, and founder and owner of Ungrateful Art. Cara's beginnings as a creative entrepreneur came from turning something she was passionate about into something she could share with others and profit from as well. Her pieces are all unique, making them special additions to anybody's collection. Her spotlight film focused on her creative process, the story behind the name, and the way in which she channels her environment into her work.
