Outlaws Dance Troupe - "Wetty" Performance
I was approached by the co-chairs of Outlaws Dance Troupe, Syracuse University's exclusively hip-hop dance team. Together we began a partnership by which their regular performances switched to a digital format due to the COVID restrictions on performing in front of live audiences. Through a unique collaboration, I co-directed, shot, and produced their video performance of "Wetty." The challenges of channeling the energy from in person performance to virtual format was part of the driving force for the editing technique. The final product brings the hype directly to your screen, in this stunning performance by a very talented team! The performance and collaboration received recognition from local press, and was featured here.
